Study to explore the feasibility of creating a fund to cover environmental liability and losses occurring from industrial accidents


This study was conducted for the European Commission (DG Environment) in the context of a framework contract on Sustainable Management of Resources led by the Institute for Environmental Studies (Netherlands).

The study was led by Bio Intelligence Service (France) in collaboration with Valerie Fogleman from Stevens & Bolton LLP (UK), Naider (Spain) and the Institute for Applied Environmental Economics (TME, Netherlands).
